I see, so that's how it works. Too bad we couldn't get an exact character count on what is allowed in one cutscene talk. Because really, we need to know exact amounts here.

This... kinda hurts my idea for using the 'lose' cutscenes for more story, unless you have the option to see it but still be forced to win the battle.

On another note, the Player Icons... if anyone was paying close attention (or pausing it), the older games now have more icons than before. The number has increased between the games, and I notice at least two new ones; Astos (FFI) and Goldor (FFIII). And of course, FFXIII has its icons added, as do the new characters in Duodecim. There also appears to be a larger amount of icons after the player character ones.

I'm still hoping (but I know it won't happen) that SE will add another scene slot for the US release.

I think the reason why there's no icons for Blank, Marcus, Cinna, or Beatrix is because the IX icons are taken from their high-res art, rather than their battle portraits. Most of them are the same (Freya's is the most noticeably different), but it's annoying that those four don't get anything because of that.

I have to agree. My dissapointment doesn't just stem from that, though. If they added those four into the selection, it would show that SE still adknowledges that they still exist.

If they had added in a Blank icon, he would've been my permenant icon for my friend card. Since he isn't there, I guess Lich will have to do....
