It's Prologus!

Yep, it's out now and all that. Yay.

I really like playing as Kain; I was worried since some people say they didn't like playing as him, but everyone has their own preference and I like playing as him! I completed Arcade Hard with him just a few minutes ago, and I loved it when I won a battle by dodging the opponent's attack with Jump then hitting them with it XD

As far as the veterans go, I like WoL just as much as when I recently played him in Dissidia, Garland I'm liking even more due to that awesome new Flare attack, and I'm also liking Kefka; he does seem to be better this time. I'm also better with Sephy than expected. Lightning isn't really my style, and I've never been that great with Jecht... and I still need to unlock Cloud, Kain didn't encounter Tifa in my Arcade Hard Mode run.

It's a good thing I like Kain, WoL, Garland, and Kefka, since I plan to use all of them in created quests (WoL and Garland for Ortus a Cado, and all four for The Silver Dragoon)

Also, I like the new outfits for WoL, Garland, Sephy, Kefka, and Jecht. I needed to see how they were in battle personally, but I think they will all be my main outfits for them.

Also, seems like Bartz mimics the tone of voice of who he's mimicking even more now.

So, how do you feel about it?

Well, I just beat Hard Mode with WoL; I managed to encounter Tifa, so I unlocked Cloud as well.

WoL seems to have improved; I particularly like the new version of Shining Wave, which now acts more like Dark Flame. in one fight, I managed to juggle Exdeath in the air by getting him above me and firing Shining Waves to keep him dodging, and every third one hit him. I managed to win the fight just doing that XD

Also, I managed to defeat an enemy by having WoL hit them with an HP attack, then calling Lightning for an HP assist, in which she managed to break the bravery with the initial hits and than defeated the enemy. Awesome.

gonna play as jecht when I stop playing 3ds. lol

I STILL haven't unlocked Cloud. I've cleared Hard with four different characters and Tifa hasn't popped up... very annoying.

I'm glad I picked Kain. Judging by Prologus, he seems pretty awesome, to me.

I have to say, pre-JP prologus, I had very low expectations for Kain.
To me, he just didn't seem all that as a character, with the least interesting gimmick of the 8 real newcomers.
But after playing him, I found him to be a fun character.
Sadly, after buying the JP copy, I had completely forgotten about him until I got US Prologus.

yes. i agree with Negi. almost forgot he was in the game. ALMOST. plus, in the Duodecim story, they really hate on kain. its sad you cant play as him in the end. shame on you SE.

Yeah, Kain get's shafted in this game.

Well, no matter how the story treats him, I'm still playing as him. They treat Bartz like an idiot in the first game, and he was my main there. He'll get more respect in my Silver Dragoon series (well, technically it won't be him per se, but he will be the most used character for obvious reasons)

I've done Arcade hard with half the playable cast; Kain, WoL, Garland, and Kefka. I want to finish it completely before Duodecim comes out; those Colognes are worth quite a bit of money in the early game.

and plus, we now get THUN-DAH-GAH!!!!
omfg how could anyone agree to saying that? lol!

Completed two more; Sephiroth and Jecht. Sephy went off without a hitch, but Jecht... well, most fights were okay, but fight 29 against Golbez was a PAIN. I had to retry a few times on that one. This make me realize that a full trasnfer is a good idea after all; I don't want to have to use characters I'm not good with a lot.

Also, the ability set up can be annoying in Hard Mode, Kefka doesn't have a strong Ground Brave move, Sephy doesn't have Octaslash in midair and that Ground Dash can be really annoying when not on flat stages.

That just leaves Lightning and Cloud.

Awesome. After my sixth arcade run, I finally unlocked Cloud...

Alrighty, I finished Arcade Hard with all eight characters! I`m getting a bit better with Lightning... in Commando form, that is. Cloud I'm decent with, though he was meant to be easy to play as. I like both their Amano alts; Lightning looks good in the monochrome style, while I always felt Cloud's normal outfit was a bit bland.

When playing as Lightning, my last two fights were both against Tifa XD

During a fight against WoL, I nearly caught the AI in an endless loop. I spammed Meteorain, and WoL dashed up to Cloud every time to cast Shield of Light, which earned him a meteor in the face. I nearly defeated him just doing this, if only he finally stopped when the next one would've defeated him.

Anyways, that means I have all the Prologus accomplishments. I guess I'll spend the rest of the time before Duodecim to get used to Kain, and play as WoL and Garland in their awesome new alts.

so are all the accomplishments just the colognes and the flower? ive been getting some colognes but what about the flower?
