2nd trailer...

Eh, it's just too cramped, seems like the big issue to me.

FYI, I'll need alot of space to work with for a big fight like that.

Pandemonium is way to cramped, and my time will be consumed doing complex moves like wall jumps and things breaking.

It'd be great if we chose a stage with a ton of big space to work with.
Things like Dream's End, The Rift, and Orphan's Cradle could work.
Things like Pandemonium, Ultimecia's Castle, and Planet's Core won't

Unless someone changes there home stage we might have issues.

We always have Order's Sancuary to fall back on.
And for the record, if I can work it correctly, we can use the ENTIRE area from Hell's Throne.
Meaning, we can go past that initial tower with the throne on it and fight in the area with the swords and lava.

I just thought of this crazy thing (I'm pretty sure it can't be done) but is there a way you can smoothly go from one stage into another?

Example: Have someone fighting on the Prima Vista, they fall off and land in the Rift.

I had a not so feasible sequence too though... It involves smashing into the crystal tower and ending up at the top part of Ultimecia's castle where there's a break in the wall

Not to seem nagging, but suppose you could make Pandemonium the inside of the Rifts Castle?

I could do that, but the sizes are to different for me to put it actually inside.
I can make a transition so it LOOKS like they walk out of Pandemonium and out of the castle on The Rift stage, but I can't put Pandemonium actually inside The Rift and have everything look in proportion.

And I've taken a break from the trailer to texture a few more characters. Just finished all the Terras, so Rune is all set.
I gotta tell ya, I fell in love with Terra's new blue costume, it's very nice and cool looking.
I need to finish the Prima Vista scene, then move on to texturing Garland so I can do Fallen's big fight.
I also need to prepare the models for cloth dynamics now. It takes a tad longer, but I feel the trailers would look MUCH better if their loose clothing moved.
As an example, Sanaki's scene doesn't have dynamics, so at one point his cape flutters out and it looks straight and awkward, but in the Prima Vista scene, you can see Shinigami's headband wave a bit when he moves.
For Fallen's scene I need to do the sash as Squall's side, Garland's cape, and Yuna's sleeves.

I could do that, but the sizes are to different for me to put it actually inside.

Older games come to mind with disproportions =P

Though I understand the rest of what you said, of course, it's the Rift, so who knows what physics Pandemonium+Interdimensional Rift equal? =P

Well, I think the pre-battle cutscene of Hero's 2nd battle would make for a good part in the trailer. To recap, in Pandemonium, Yukanna does a surprise attack on Epic Girl and Zero, then Fallen runs to help them while Zell is waiting to ambush him, but Hero stops Zell from attacking Fallen. Parts of that would be neat to see.
