Xenogears comes out on the PSN tomorrow, and I want to know who is going to get it. I probably will...but I'll need to delete something off my memory stick.
*looks at the install data for Dissidia*
Dammit and I JUST reinstalled that yesterday. <_<

Was created by Squaresoft and was released in 1998. It features a mix of ATB with turn based combat along with a combo system where you mix and match weak, mid, and strong attacks together to create deathblows. And to add to the awesome of battle, you get Gears (aka MECHS) that you use over the course of the game. The mechs also have their own deathblows.
Had 2 discs, and the game had an incredibly fleshed out story with some psychology thrown in there. Unfortunately the 2nd disc left much to be desired due to its linearness when compared to the first disc...
The game was so good it made the Greatest Hits collection, and is the spiritual predecessor to Xenosaga.
That's all I can think of to say for now...oh wait, you can also jump outside of battle on the field. So there ARE platforming puzzles in that game.
