Oh dear, everyone is posting pictures now. I'm very interested to see what everyone here looks like. I guess I'll post a picture. I don't actually have anything on a photo-sharing site, so I'll just post my Facebook.

And I use Facebook to play SE's new Facebook games and to talk to people I knew before I moved. I had to move because my boyfriend was ordered to live with his family as part of his pretrial stuff, so we're here for now.

Ah, I knew I was forgetting something. I have a very strong interest in the occult and magic. Astrology, tarot cards, runes, various religions and other systems of magic, whatever the thing, I have an interest in it. I have a strong belief in both magic and in a number of other things, so I'm always looking for more things.

I don't really believe in magic per say, but I do believe that every person has inborn psychic abilities, but we block ourselves off from them. I have actually had some weird things happened to me. I opened a locked door for instance, or I saw the future once or twice in a dream. I do have an interest in magic and the occult, even if I don't personally believe in it. It's weird to explain my beliefs, especially since I am a Catholic and a pretty spiritual person.

I also have a deck of tarot cards.

I'm... very spiritual, but my beliefs don't easily follow any one religion. The best way to explain it is that, simply, I believe all religions hold some of the truth, but no one religion holds all of it, they all have something to offer. And I believe in multiple gods, which isn't too common. It extends beyond any one pantheon of deities though. With all the legal troubles going on right now, and how well everything overall has been, I have a great deal more faith than I did when things were just starting out.

As for magic... well, I simply believe it's something that exists. It may not be something everyone will experience, but it exists, and I'm a firm and true believer in that.

I can understand your beliefs. On the last one, I even somewhat agree. I don't call it magic, but I do believe that we have some 'supernatural' abilities, and it's been proven. Hypnotism for example. There was one study where a man hypnotized a woman from a long distance away. At first it didn't seem to work, but then the people who were watching this person notice this person leave her house and walk with a purpose. IIRC, she was muttering about how she had to find someone. Anyway, she found his house and walked in. Well, the guy thought it didn't work, so he stopped concentrating just as the woman came into the room. She looked all around for him, and walked past him for a little bit. When the guy refocused on it, she suddenly turned around, faced him, and said 'I found you!'. If that is not an example, what is?

In a sense, we both share that belief, but we call it different things now that I think about it. I believe that we all have the capability to perform 'supernatural' feats, however, we close ourselves off from our abilities. This can be either because we're afraid of them, or we are constantly told that it does not exist, and thus we become a self-fulfilling prophecy so to speak, and we lose the capability.

As for religion, I believe very heavily in Christianity, particularly Catholicism. That is not to say I think other religions are wrong. I believe that some religions have some things that are correct, and others which are purely fiction. Catholicism is simply the religion I believe is most correct. However, I don't judge people based on their beliefs, as I believe we all have varying beliefs.

Well, I definitely believe in angels. I think that angels can be, in many ways, equated to gods in other religions. I also believe that some sort of overarching deity exists as well, though I don't think it'd be masculine or feminine really.

As for magic... well, I believe that, not magic in the way of FF, obviously, but a bit more ritualistic. The ability to influence things in an indirect way, through practiced rituals and willpower, essentially. Not sure I explained it well.

Beyond video games... I like a lot of different anime. Nanoha is easily my favorite of all the anime I have watched, and ever will watch, simply because I identify strongly with the main hero, Nanoha. Besides Nanoha, I like Fate/Stay Night, HunterxHunter, Code Geass, Death Note, Final Fantasy Unlimited, Shugo Chara, Cardcaptor Sakura, Zatch Bell, Rental Magica, and Kirby of the Stars. Probably some I'm missing, but it's late, so I'm babbling.

Anyone a fan of Fairy Tail? It's teh loves for me but not as much as Negima :3 that one is kind of out of the world like negi

Negima, Bleach, and Fairy Tale are all series I have an interest in, but too little time to really follow. Many, many anime like that as well.

Oh yes we share the same loves I remember! You're awesome too! And yknow what, I paid small tributes to both of these series in my fanfic xp, some of my plotpoints have been following them
